Mylar is a metalized plastic sheeting. It will reflect about 98% of the light that hits it. You should put it on the walls around your plants to reflect wasted light back to the plants.

Great Product for the Price This is by far the best deal for mirror film that I’ve found. This mylar is durable and the coating is about as reflectant as one could expect.Please note that this film is not 2 millimeters thick, it’s 2 mils thick ( .002 Inch ).The only question now is how long will the material and finish last in direct sunlight.If you are searching for solar reflector material for either focusing the sunlight to a target or just reflecting it away from a specific area…
