There are really only two disadvantages with solar lighting. Since solar lights get their energy from the sun, they cannot provide adequate light during rainy seasons. Also, the solar cells in solar lights are small which leads to a short span of moderate solar lighting.

Because they are so easy to install, once they are down you will be saving money instantly. Using these lights are good for your pocket book, but also good for the earth.
