Save Money This Summer with a Resedential Water Slide

by Robin Buckley

It is that time of year when the kids are out of school and they want to play. Popular summer play includes trips to the water park as paying in the water and sliding down a giant water slide is an excellent way to spend a hot summer day.

By the time summer arrives, kids are ready for the action. Who could blame them, as they have spent the past cold and rainy months indoors, with homework, , computer games and TV. Now it is time for some summer fun as they dream about baseball fields, water and amusement theme parks

Summer fun can get a little expensive and in these hard economic times, people have to consider cutting back of the summer fun. A family could easily spend over $200.00 on one of these family outings when you consider the cost of getting there and all the things you buy once you are there.

More and more families are turning to their own backyards for family fun. The economy is forcing people to stay home this summer but that does not mean you have to abandon good old fashion summer fun.

Water parks are a big attraction for kids, and it is entirely possible to turn your back yard into a wonderful water park.

In days gone by, the old fashioned Slip and Slide was very popular. The water slide of today has greatly improved. They are manufactured in a way that gives them height and dimension, unlike the Slip and Slide of yester-year that laid flat on the ground.

The inflatable water slide comes in all sorts of styles. Some will come with more than one sliding lane. Kids love these types because they can race each other to the finish. The other advantage is that more kids can play at one time.

You can choose from a number of different themes as well. You can choose to slide out of the lion’s mouth, or down from the princess castle. You can slide out of a jungle or race down a speedway. The choices are abundant and they all hook up to the hose.

You do not have to stop at the water slide since some units will come with other play areas attached. You can get them outfitted with a bounce house or an obstacle course, and there are some models that will come with both, bounce house and obstacle course, providing an expanded play area.

But who says you have to have just one inflatable water slide? If you have the space you can turn your backyard into a full fledged water park of your very own. You will undoubtedly be the most popular family in the neighborhood.

So give it some health consideration when heading off to the amusement park or water park this summer. Could you be better of creating your very own water park with the inflatable residential water slide or bounce house?
